Welcome trainer Nicki Mathen to Fox Hollow! Nicki is a Grand Prix rider and trainer with decades of experience and success developing horse & rider in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. We’re so excited for this partnership and grateful to Nicki for sharing her wisdom and expertise with our riders as we embark on this next chapter for our barn. So immensely proud of everyone at our last Woodside show! Nova (only 5 years old) and Bebe debuted in the poles and absolutely rocked it! Kendall was on fire with her mare Histannie at their first show together, showing how it’s done in the .80s jumpers. Kristi had a super first show with her mare Brisa in the crossrails after many years off from showing - way to go Kristi! Harper and Hera had some lovely trips in the crossrails demonstrating their hard work and incredible progress in their partnership - so proud of their hard work paying off! Piper piloted her pony Cookie in the 2’6” with beautiful equitation, a bittersweet last show with her as she moves up to her new horse. Everyone placed well in huge classes and Kendall brought home reserve champion, too! Thank you to an amazing team and the best clients and horses - we are so blessed! And it was a fun note to end our wonderful two years with Garret, who also showed Brisa in the .80s! We will miss him dearly. Next time I’ll be better about getting group pics (and pics in general, and taking pics with ribbons before we load the horses gahh I’m terrible). Great job team!! ❤️
