I want more than anything for people to find comfort within our walls. I wrote up these rules long before we moved here. Spring is around the corner so it’s the best time to remind everyone to give themselves and their horses some grace while coming back to work.

The PEC wants people who believe in the following statements:

* I know a positive attitude makes every situation better
* I understand that everyone is at a different experience level
* I understand that there are many ways to accomplish the same goal
* I understand that what works for me may not work for someone else
* I understand that horses are expensive and we are all doing our best with what we have
* I will be open to all disciplines because I understand that every discipline strives for clear communication and body control. Just because I don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there
* I will remember that every horse (and rider) has a bad day
* I will do my best and appreciate what my best is
* I will always be kind
* I will be flexible
* I will be helpful
* I will not be afraid to ask for help
* I will be direct with my concerns
* I will never stop learning

And...
* I will support and encourage everyone at the PEC

Last but not least (for today anyway😉) I wanted to show a picture of my dream coming true. When we bought this place, all I wanted was to share my love of rodeo. We have successfully created an environment with endless knowledge, experience and willingness to learn. The energy here is inspiring. Thank you to every single one of you who have participated in our training/lessons/boarding program.

I’m not sure who I’m happier with in this video! Klaus for hopping on and roping with only 2 lessons in his lifetime (all his money goes to Layna 🤣)?? Or Razz for putting up with his shenanigans??
