Feedlots, with capacities of 1,000 or more head, on June 1, 2025 were as follows; Nebraska 2.56 million cattle on feed. Kansas 2.35 million cattle on feed. Texas 2.63 million cattle on feed. Oklahoma 335,000 cattle on feed.

Congratulations!!!!

The International Red Brangus Breeders Association hosted our annual meeting in April of this year at Gibbs Ranch, the Agricultural complex of Sam Houston State Unniversity, and elected new board members. Last night we had our first official board meeting with all new members present. As standard protocol we elected board positions and committee chairs. It is with great pleasure we present Dr. Stephen Lee, owner of Circle Lee Farms, as our president for 2025/2026. Dr. Lee has served the past two years as our President and is passionate about Red Brangus forward thinking, organized, and has an amazing talent to keep the board cohesive and focused on growing the breed. Let's all congratulate him and drop a comment to express our appreciation for accepting a very demanding position. For his third term we have tripled his salary to 000.00. Thank you Dr. Lee and paint the pastures RED!!!!!
