Catopia Cat Rescue is a 501c3 organization in South Florida. We need help through donations, fosters and loving homes for the animals we rescue.

Catopia Cat Rescue is a 100% volunteer and foster based rescue organization. This means that we do not have a facility to house cats or kittens we have for adoption and rely strictly on people like you to help us save lives. It takes an ARMY and without you we could not continue…

Do you love cats or kittens but don’t want the long term responsibility of providing them a home for 20+years?? Do you want to help but already have a full-house?? Have some spare time and want to make good use of it?? Do you just enjoy playing with cats and kittens?? We are always looking for animal lovers with a huge heart to help us provide for the cats and kittens of South Florida. Because of volunteers like you, we are able to dedicate our financial resources to the direct care of our animals. Here are various ways that you too can help us! Foster Homes: Foster homes are so important! All of the cats and kittens we save need a safe place for them to stay while we find them loving forever homes. We appreciate you opening your heart and home to save a life. If you want to foster a kitten or a litter of kittens, we ask that you be willing to provide a time commitment to foster them for at least one month or until they find a forever home. Your dedication allows us to help cats or kittens we would otherwise be unable to assist. Fosters are needed for various conditions such as:
Providing a safe, healthy and loving environment for cats, kittens and even mother cats to raise their kittens. Giving adult or long-term resident cats the ability to stay (or be) in a home setting. Socializing shy or timid cats and kittens. Providing sick or injured cats ability to heal in a quiet home environment. Bottle-feeding orphaned or abandoned kittens. These kittens require the most work and time but are the most rewarding. As with human infants, around the clock bottle feeding of kitten formula is required, as frequently as every 2-3 hours for newborns. Catopia will provide all veterinary care, food, litter, crate, bedding, and any necessary supplies while in your care. All we ask of you is that you provide a safe environment with lots of love. Transportation: Have some extra time that you can drop a kitty off to be spayed or for shots? Or maybe to pick her up? May seem like so little but often times it helps us so much! Ten year old Flame is in need of a forever home. I visited with him yesterday at his foster home, and he is truly one of the greatest cats I have ever met! And that is saying a lot as I have met many 100s of cats. He is so mellow and loving. Just a cuddle bunn who purrs and all of the time! He just wants a person and is super happy with a lap or just laying next to you. He just has the best energy! He is also completely healthy. We had senior blood work done and it is all good. He is 100% healthy! Anyone looking for an older cat will not go wrong with Flame. I am just so grateful to the feeder who found him because the thought of this cat being lost and alone outside is devastating. Happy Monday morning from Flame! All he wants is a lap and to be cuddled. As soon as I come, he jumps right up! He is the most special boy. I am moving him to a foster home this week but he is available for adoption! He is scheduled for a dental Catopia is paying for along with all of the other vetting we have done. We will need help with all of his bills, but that is for later. Whomever comes to meet him will fall in love. You won't be able to help yourself! Flame is a young 10 and anyone looking for a loving, sweet, gentle orange boy will get the cat of their dreams! He is located in Broward County, FL.

Meet beautiful, sweet, loving 10 year old Flame. He will be up for adoption very soon. Flame, found by Catopia as a 6 week old kitten 10 years ago, was found 10 days ago abandoned and hungry. A woman had been feeding him for about a month when she decided to trap him to be neutered, ear tipped, given shots and returned to field. Unfortunately they gave him an ear notch before he was checked for a microchip or prior neuter. Imagine Cindy and my shock when it turned out he had a microchip and this was our Flame. We have used several resources to try and find the owner, to no avail. Flame has to be missing for almost 2 months at the least, and there are no posts on any lost pet pages. The number I have now belongs to someone else.
Flame is a very special boy. Super loving and just wants a lap. He literally lats in my lap and crawls up my chest. And he likes to give kisses! The cage at my vet is starting to depress him. He has been fully vetted, even with senior blood work. He had a little bit of an upper resiratory infection when he came in feom being outsude but it is almost all cleared up And he is also up to date on everything now. I am moving him this week to a temporary foster in Coral Springs. If anyone is interested in meeting Flame, please contact me. Anyone who comes to meet him will see how incredible a cat he is! I would like to get him adopted locally in the south Fl area. After what's happened, we would like to have him close by!

I just spent a few hours with Flame at my vet's office. He is the most loving, friendly, sweet boy. He jumps right up in your lap and even crawled up my chest. We have had no luck locating his owners nor his brother. He will be up for adoption soon! He is 10 years old and has had senior blood work(he's healthy!), a snap test(negative), FVRCP and rabies vaccines, deworming and flea treatment and has a microchip. He is a beautiful, very special boy. Please share Flame with anyone you know who is looking for an older, healthy, super loving kitty. It breaks my heart that he was given away or thrown outside like the trash. No kitty deserves this, and I am determined to find him the perfect forever home. Whomever adopts him will be lucky to get a cat like this!

FOSTER NEEDED: Catopia has a very difficult situation. Yesterday we got a call from the Humane Society that a cat brought in for TNR had a Catopia microchip that the owners never changed to their name💩He is now 10!!! We immediately had Flame, that's the name we gave him 10 years ago, taken to my vet's office where he will stay for the short term while he is vetted and we figure out a solution. I have reached out to the phone number for the adopters and I was told it was the wrong number. 💔I know he needs to be held 30 days before he can be up for adoption, but we need a foster for him. He is turning 10 this coming week and is sweet and lovey and cuddly as well. He was adopted with his brother, Blaze, and we are very concerned as to where he is. I am just grateful we always microchipped all of our kittens and cats, or else Flame would have been put back in a colony where he showed up a month ago. We have scoured all of the lost pet sites but haven't found him posted. Please share Flame with everyone so we can find a place other than a cage for him to stay!

UPDATE: Lenny has been adopted to a wonderful family! Thank you to everyone for sharing Lenny, donated to Lenny and just loving Lenny!! He has his forever home!😻❤️. URGENT!!!!Please share little 12 week old Lenny with everyone you know. He will be losing his foster home, through no fault of his own, in a little over a week! His foster mom is having her first grandchild and will not be home to care for Lenny. Lenny is a healthy, sweet and loving little boy. He loves to snuggle, especially under your chin. He has had his shots and deworming and will be neutered and microchipped. We are looking for an adoption, but even if someone could foster him until he is adopted. He is such a wonderful little boy and it breaks my heart to think of him living in a cage until adoption. Everything will be paid for by Catopia, including food and litter if you want to foster! Happy rainy Saturday from Lenny! He's wondering who is going to adopt him! Lenny is such a sweet, fun, loving kitten who is patiently waiting for his forever home. He is approximately 11 weeks old and has had his shots and deworming and will be snap tested, neutered and microchipped. Who is looking for some special kitty love? Say good morning to 9 week old Lenny doing his morning exercise routine with his foster mommy, lifting weights and stretching, until he passed out from all of the exertion!! Who can resist this little nugget? He is the sweetest, loving, cuddly baby. We are getting him ready for his forever home and whomever adopts this lovebug will get a special little boy. Please share Lenny with all of your kitty loving friends! He will be fully vetted(he's had first shot, first deworming and baby Revolution), snap tested, neutered and microchipped.
