Thank you Dr. Hefter and your amazing team, who are sponsoring the veterinary care of our department’s beloved peer support K9s, Luna and Raegan. These dogs are not just pets—they are a lifeline. They provide critical incident therapy and emotional support to first responders not only here in Plantation but across the entire state of Florida as part of the Broward First Responder Support Dogs Team.

Luna and Raegan play a vital role in helping firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and dispatchers cope with the trauma and stress that comes with serving our community. And now, thanks to PAWS Veterinary Center, they will receive the best care possible.
