Mother’s Day rescue mission! Ed saved the first one, then I rescued the second baby bird from the jaws of the cat. Babies are now safe and reunited with parents, and cats are in jail. Just one mama helping another! 🤣

Productive day on the farm:
✅ Nursery Inspection
✅ Mower #1 serviced
✅ Mowing 1/2 done by mower #2
✅ Lots of quiet contemplation while mowing….anyone else? 😉

I often think of my father while I am working in the yard, but I didn’t expect to find THIS! Apparently he lost his WALLET during one of his extended stays here, but never told me! 😳🤣 We were doing a deep clean of the shrubbery around the porch, right in front of where “Papa” would sit to take off his shoes. I almost didn’t see it, because it was literally being consumed, decomposing into the soil. I know my dad is getting a good chuckle out of this in heaven tonight!

Nothing will make me do a heebie jeebie dance faster than a face full of spider web! Fortunately I spotted this one before it became a headdress. How in the world do they make these things so quickly???
