Hillsborough County Evacuation Order for Zones A & B

Hillsborough County Evacuation Zones A and B - Hurricane Milton
This is an urgent message from Hillsborough County government. Please listen carefully. An evacuation order has been issued by Hillsborough County for Zones A and B and all low-lying areas, and mobile and manufactured homes throughout the County starting today, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. due to Hurricane Milton. For your safety, you must evacuate your home. We urge you to be in a safe location by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Please listen carefully to the following tasks you should complete before leaving your home or business:

1) Gather all persons and pets living in your household.

2) Gather and take only critical items including important papers and essential medications.

3) Turn off all appliances and lights in your home.

4) Lock your home when you leave.

You are encouraged to evacuate to the home of a friend or family member outside of the evacuation area. As a last resort, emergency shelters are available. You can find shelter information at HCFL.gov/EvacShelters. For updates, please monitor local news outlets, follow on social media, visit HCFL.gov/StaySafe or call (833) HC STORM. You will not be able to return to your home until instructed by local officials.
