Dear musician friends and music lovers! The Mad Scientist will be hosting another Artists Showcase / MegaJam in Downtown Plant City at The Original Big Dog's Patio this evening starting at 8:30PM, weather cooperating! As a result of prior events several great acts have been booked and played the Plant City Bike Fest main stage and the Patio stage! Its always an enjoyable time, come on out!

Special guests this evening the ultra talented Thanecha Anderson, Neilan Anderson and the Weigh Out Band!! Bring your guitar or bass, PA, basic backline and drums provided.

Wow, what an incredibly beautiful day!! Spring is in the air and the Strawberry Festival is going on! Come enjoy this evening on The Big Dogs back patio, with great local musicians performing at the open mic hosted by yours truly, The Mad Scientist! Local artist Morgan Davis will be selling/signing his latest Strawberry Comic Calendars for $10 or $8 with any drink purchase! P.S, there is a FREE DRINK coupon inside so do the math and get more berries, beats, and beer for your buck! The lovely Shary White will be bartending the patio, and the sensational Christina Corson will be inside during the Tuesday Night Dart League. Welcome the new Steel Tip Dart League as well!! Dear musician friends and music lovers! The Mad Scientist will be hosting another Artists Showcase / MegaJam at The Original Big Dog's Patio this evening starting at 6:30PM! As a result of the last event (with over 25 musicians participating!) several great acts have already been booked! Artists of all configurations may be hired to play the patio stage the evenings of the Plant City Strawberry Classic Car Show and the Plant City Bike Fest as well as on Sunday Fundays! Its always an enjoyable time, come on out!

Special guests this evening, the Weigh Out Band and Bryan James!! If the great weather holds we will be on the patio stage! Bring your guitar or bass, PA, basic backline, drums provided.

Unfortunately The Mad Scientist was in need of a doctor today. I have a ear infection and in great pain so I have no choice but to cancel the Plant City Open Jam at Rail Ale Pub tonight. I apologize to all my wonderful and loyal jammers and patrons.

My apologies to all our wonderful frequenters of the Plant City Open Jam at Bigdogs Patio but there is an 80 percent chance of rain tomorrow so the plug is pulled, however, next week is on!! Also, BigDogs officially changed their name today to Rail Ale Pub! Nothing else is affected and it's still the same owners. See you next week!
