Today’s 10 cats went in and are ready for surgery tomorrow at HSTB!

Today’s catch was 10 ferals from our local Walden Lake community.

Patience is key!
Make sure they were not fed the night before by the resident.
Set traps and trail with the stinky stuff.
Make sure residents leave or stay inside.
You go chill in the car.
Let the Battle of wits begin!

You can catch 10 ferals in no time if you make sure to set it up correctly for a successful trapping!!

Thank you to the residents who play a huge part in trapping these ferals who deserve this care!

We are picking up our TNR cats to take them back to their resident feeders

My co-captain KissKiss says to please remember to spay and neuter your pets. Most of the community cats that you will see catch hate and blame for just existing. They are the direct result of a human taking in a cute free kitten and not getting it spayed or neutered.

We had a local reach out requesting help trapping two kittens at a warehouse that is getting torn down next week. The local is finding/has homes for one and is working on the other.

We got there and were told there was one grey tabby and one black. Well the trap set off and Welborn we checked there were two grey tabbies! We left another trap and the little black one went in about an hour later!

Thank you to Phoenix for loading and carrying traps for me today since my back is injured! 🙏🏼❤️🐾

Trapping in the rain is no fun! It’s not because you get wet. It’s because the cats are all hiding and you never know how many you’re gonna get. Tropical storm Debby made it difficult for most trappers to bring in their numbers today.

We had a goal of 10 we were able to bring in 8! It’s a win!
