I’m getting really good at reading my human, thanks to River the Service Dog helping me learn. I’m intuitively picking up Deep Pressure Therapy and Light Pressure Therapy when the human needs me. I’m a pretty good boy. 💚🐾

Lots of mornings look like this. I get up at dawn and bark my head off while running the perimeter of the yard. Then, after my human is wide awake and unable to go back to sleep, I then have the BEST nap right next to her laptop. Zzz…

My human calls me Kobra Kai. She says I’m wild and bite like a snake. But then I come in after barking my head off at the fence and with my muddy paws on her bed. I snuggle up and moan my happiness for the soft place to land, and her heart melts. Because I’m awfully cute when I’m sleeping.

It’s starting to happen. The intuition. “My human is not ok. I need to stop and re-direct my attention until she’s back.” It started with a little look. Now it’s full on DPT. No formal training at all. Need a Service Dog? Get a Smooth Collie.
