Meet Kaa - a Yellow Rat Snake (Pantherophis alleghaniensis) I got a few months ago & have been letting settle in! I really love arboreal species, and really wanted something a little more arboreal than my other snakes. She is semi-arboreal, frequently found in trees, on fences and other taller structures. They are prevalent in Florida and the Southeast, USA. Kaa is captive bred, will average out around 4 to 6 feet, hoping to enjoy the next 15 to 20 years with this girl!

This is a false widow I saved from my bathroom and was going to release it, but it seemed quite comfortable in its enclosure, webbing it up pretty heavily and consistently accepting food. This morning I was actually able to get a video of it wrapping its fruit fly prey!
