It's been 6 years since this little Kelsey ran away from her adopted mom for the 3rd time. She was on the lamb for about a week, when i finally caught her. My friend Terri Visnu Terleigh thought it would be a great idea to make her own ASPCA commercial. Lol, she is with me forever.

It was a BANGER of a night! 7 dogs terrified, all wanting to be on my lap. It finally settdown around 1 AM and we all went to bed. At 3 we work up to potty, since they would not " go out" while the fireworks were going off. After 3 AM, most of them went to their beds and we got a few hours of peaceful sleep. The 4th of July is awesome for most people, but for dogs and folks with PTSD, not so much. I did use some lavender oil on my dogs to help them calm a bit. It did help. How did your babies survive the 4th?
