Meet Galaxy — A Star in Search of a New Sky

Galaxy's world just changed. She was adopted as a puppy and spent 6 beautiful years in a loving home... Now, she's suddenly back in the unfamiliar world of rescue — confused, heartbroken, and waiting for someone to believe in her again.

This gorgeous 6-year-old black Retriever mix is full of energy and love. She’s the kind of dog who brings joy with her zoomies (just make sure the doors and gates are closed — she's got a bit of an explorer’s heart!). Older kids who can handle her enthusiasm would be ideal, and a little training will go a long way to help her shine.

Galaxy gets along with other dogs, and she’s open to meeting kids too. She just needs someone to give her structure, patience, and love — the kind she once knew.

A fence is required due to her adventurous spirit.

💛 Meet Lainey – A True Survivor 💛

UPDATE: Lainey is officially a tripod and is doing wonderfully!

Lainey’s story is one of resilience, trust, and quiet strength. This sweet girl has been through more than we can imagine, yet she remains incredibly loving and gentle.

When Lainey first arrived, she was severely matted, filthy, and clearly neglected. But through it all, she showed nothing but kindness. Even as we gently cut away burrs and painful mats from her fur, she seemed to know we were trying to help.

At around 27 pounds, we believe Lainey is a Maltese-Poodle mix. While we don’t know exactly what she endured before coming to us, it’s clear she’s a survivor. Despite it all—she trusts, she loves, and she’s ready for a fresh start.

Lainey is now in a loving foster home recovering beautifully from her recent leg amputation. She’s adjusting like a champ and showing us daily what a brave and beautiful soul she truly is.

Now all she needs is a forever home. 💕

Lainey deserves a compassionate family who will give her the love, patience, and care she has long been missing. If you’re ready to open your heart to a truly special pup—Lainey is waiting.

Cappuccino is a charming male Rat Terrier mix with a mostly white coat and cute brindle patches. He’s a petite pup at around 15 pounds, and though his exact age is still a bit of a mystery, he’s got plenty of youthful s***k. Cappuccino has bright, perky ears and a lean, athletic build with those soft, expressive eyes. This friendly little guy has a truly happy-go-lucky attitude – since arriving here, he’s been all tail wags and gentle affection with everyone he meets.

He might not be able to tell us about his past, but one thing is clear: Cappuccino is focused on a bright future filled with love. We haven’t seen him around children, other dogs, or cats yet, but he’s so open-hearted and gentle that we think he’ll do just fine with proper introductions to any new friends.

Rat Terriers are versatile, happy-go-lucky little dogs known for being exceptionally intelligent, agile, and easy to train. They’re also very people-oriented and make faithful, loving companions who bond closely with their humans. As a Rat Terrier mix, Cappuccino likely inherited these wonderful traits – he’s sure to be a quick learner and a loving little friend in the making.

Meet Waffles!

Waffles is a one-year-old female Pit Bull mix who currently weighs just 42 pounds—but she should weigh more. This sweet girl is underweight and has clearly been through a lot, but you’d never know it by the way she loves. She’s gentle, affectionate, and already showing how grateful she is to be safe.

Waffles spent far too long at animal control—since March—but thankfully, Wags 2 Wishes stepped in to give her a second chance. She is now looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home to help her through her heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by the rescue as long as it’s done through our approved vet.

Waffles has proven herself to be incredibly dog friendly. One night, a little fluffy escape artist slipped under a gate and joined Waffles in her run—and the two became instant roommates, peacefully cuddling through the night. She’s also besties with a chihuahua, showing just how gentle and social she really is.

She just got her first real time out of the kennel recently, and she immediately melted into a blanket, enjoying every second of comfort and peace.

Waffles is ready to leave the hard parts of her life behind and step into the love and care she deserves. If you can open your heart and home to help her heal, she will be the most devoted and thankful companion you could ask for.

Bubba arrived this weekend and it the pool!😆
He is a 40lb American bully who was a result of poor breeding.
So far we know he loves to snuggle and loves the pool~ and for us thats enough!❤️
