This handsome fellow is available for adoption. Found in a neighbor’s backyard. He loves other cats & is a big cuddler. He has been introduced to dogs. Estimated birthdate is May 15,2025. He just had his second set of vaccinations including leukemia. His neuter is scheduled for October 9th. His adoption fee is $125 to help cover his neuter & microchip.

I interrupt your social scrolling to make this public announcement. Please microchip your pets! Yesterday while I was at our drop off/pick up located in historical downtown Plainfield when a dog caught my eye. Most people will say what’s the news there Jill? All dogs catch your eye. But this dog was roaming on a side street across a busy Highway 40. He looked tired and overheated, I was trying to figure a way to get to him. He managed to cross the highway and two wonderful ladies came to his rescue. They took him to the vet clinic a block away, but unfortunately he had no identification tags & he was not microchipped. I volunteered to take him to my boarding facility otherwise he was headed to the local animal shelter. Another good Samaritan posted him on a local lost and found website around 3:00. At 8:00 I received a frantic text saying I think you have my dog! His name is Allen and he safely home but not before I preached about how he would have been home within 5 to 10 minutes of his rescue had he been microchipped. AirTags & identification tags are great but they can fall off please microchip your beloved pets to ensure their safe return.

Hope everyone is staying safe. Our boarding facility has stayed open during Indiana’s stay-at-home order while the Plainfield self-service shop has been closed under the order. We now can take appointments for self-service baths &/or nail trims, just text 317-965-4855 to set up a private appointment. Our boarding schedule has been slow for obvious reasons so we have taken this time to foster many pups & dogs needing homes. Many of the fosters we have had are now adopted & we will share some of their pictures this week. Please feel free at any time to text your summer reservations.
