All Fur Paws, LLC

All Fur Paws, LLC Positive reinforcement, professional dog trainer with over 25 years experience and work with all breeds & ages. Welcome! I work with all breeds and all ages.

Offering Group Classes, Private Lessons and Behavior Consulting. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and use positive reinforcement techniques that reward what the dog does correctly. It's the best way for dogs (and humans!) to learn. One of my main goals is to teach owners how to communicate with their dogs and provide skills they can build on. No dog is too old to learn! LESSON

S: All Fur Paws offers private, in-your-home lessons that focus on you and your dog. It's where the dog spends most of its life. BEHAVIOR CONSULTING: I have extensive experience with dogs with behavioral problems (such as fear of new people, dog/dog issues, aggression, anxiety) and develop a Behavior Improvement Plan specific to your dog. I use a combination of management, training and behavior modification techniques to obtain the best results. BOARD AND TRAIN: I'm a Board and Train Specialist and have fostered hundreds of dogs and worked with many, many more. This option is perfect for getting pups and older dogs started off on the right paw. Whatever your problem is, I can help. Contact me via email at [email protected] or give me a call at (920) 210-0764.

Nothing better than a mentally tired dog. Enrichment isn’t hard and we go over a variety of ideas and suggestions in my lessons and classes.

Dog enrichment ideas provide a way for a dog to engage their instincts to sniff, lick, chew and explore nondestructively in the comfort of the home.

Interesting read on dog food.

3 Studies Tested Pet Food for Dog & Cat DNA.😧 They found...

No trace of dogs or cats in any of the pet food. Phew! 😮‍💨

Some of the pet food samples had already tested positive for the most common animal euthanasia drug in the USA (Pentobarbital)... so extra tests were done to determine how it got into the pet food.
..and whether it came from our poor euthanized pets.

But the long & short of it is that this pentobarbital came from euthanized livestock. Livestock that hadn't been intended for turning into pet food, but that had got mixed up with other animal carcasses that were.

Now, the FDA has a zero tolerance policy for pentobarbital in pet food. This means that, unlike other toxins, where there's an upper limit set for how much is allowed in pet food, pentobarbital is completely banned in any quantity. No matter how small.

Since the drug was found in pet food, new regulations have been introduced that all pet food manufacturers must comply with. These introduce extra checks & safeguards to make sure even euthanized livestock is not accidentally turned into pet food.

All told, despite what you may have heard on the internet, euthanized pets are not being used to feed our living pets.
