Yesterday’s powerful storms and high winds left behind downed trees, property damage, blocked roads, and widespread power outages throughout our community. In moments like these, we’re reminded just how fortunate we are to live and work in Plainfield.

While many of us were dealing with power outages and storm damage, these men and women were out in the aftermath—clearing roads, responding to emergencies, directing traffic, assessing damage, restoring services, and helping keep everyone safe.

It takes a tremendous amount of coordination and hard work to respond to a storm like this, and that work deserves to be recognized.
