This weekend was, without question - epic. Pretty much all I did both days was fly rollers. Much because my old bird teams would fly for 2+ hours both days. If I could have one wish it would be to have this UK weather available to order up for fly days. 48 degrees, light breeze, pi***ng drizzle off and on, just absolutely perfect roller flying weather. And the birds showed just how much they like it. The difference between performance on these kind of days and sunny bluebird days is staggeringly different. The weather really does play a significant role in how well a good team will be willing to perform. My old c***s were better today, but I still hate them and refusal to kit tight. But my hens, oh boy 😍. I added four yearlings to the hen kit from yesterday and flew them today. - Money 😎.
This weekend was one of those times when I recognize just blessed I was to get to see that. Most flyers don’t ever get that chance. Enjoy a few clips from the hens this morning.
