Attention customers ,
Is your dog or cat protected against fleas and ticks . There are lots of products out there and which one that is right for you and your dog is up to you and /or your vet . Personally I don’t find frontline very effective and some dogs have reactions as well as having to keep little ones away from the treated area . I myself use the seresto flea collar . I’m off to get diatomaceous earth today to treat my yard . Due to recent construction I have feral neighbors cats passing through my fenced yard . This is how easy it is to get fleas . My son saw the cats in the yard over the past week or two . Yesterday my dog who is home all day and loves to lay in the yard when outside was scratching so I gave him a once over …… one flea !!! I’ve searched all three animals intensely , only Bruce had one flea and a speck of flea dirt (black flecks that feel like sand but break apart and turn red if if get it wet ) . It’s important to be pro active if fleas are present they breed fast , all three animals have collars on now and I’m going to treat the yard . In my opinion recent fires have increased the wildlife population close to neighborhoods and brought with it more fleas and ticks . So this is just a friendly reminder to check your animals for fleas and ticks .

My long time clients Zoie and Andy lost their persons suddenly . They are a bonded pair. She is 14 but young for her age . They are in need of a home or even separate homes at this point before they have to be surrendered to a shelter . If you can help let me know .

Hello , As a sole proprietor I do my best to serve my customers on my own. I’m still dealing with medical issues and appointments with my son from his accident . I’m at the mercy of doctors and schedulers . I appreciate your patience and patronage during this hectic and difficult time . Thank you !!!! Due to procedures and surgery being in the Bay Area , Dirty Dog Pet Salon will be closed October 10th through October 16 th . Again please be patient as I work to reschedule and rearrange my schedule to accommodate

My apologies for any missed calls and non returned messages . I continue to do my best to honor my appointments while dealing with an injured family member . I’m working by appointment and don’t have a lot of time for calls . I ask for continued patience and understanding as this is a difficult situation for myself , my business and my son . I’m sure we can all agree Family comes first . The Dirty Dog is my second , and I’m doing everything I can to continue to take care of both .

Dirty Dog Pet Salon is aware of the “mystery “ dog illness that people are being warned about. I strive to maintain a clean shop on a daily basis. Extra cleaning and sanitizing is being done to further protect our furry friends. Dogs are not interacting with each other , there are no common water bowls. I ask that no one bring their pets in with any symptoms or feeling unwell. The best way to not spread any illness in our pets is to keep them home when they are Un well, keep them up to date on their shots, and keep them away from strange places and dogs. I take the care and safety of the animals in my care seriously , my own dog is with me every day .

Isn’t he adorable Cooper at his recent photo shoot! Look at his Butt Heart ❤️ he’s the sweetest when he comes in for his monthly Spa day . He had a big day from groomer to photographer, all met with happy tails I’m sure . Thanks for being a good boy Cooper!!! We love you !!

Dirty Dog Pet Salon is now located at 416 placerville drive. The building is still under some construction , so please be mindful of construction workers and dust. The entrance is located in the back of the building at the end closest to suburban propane . The driveway , is between the bean barn and the construction fencing (currently) . Please be patient while we all adjust to new digs!!!

Dirty Dog Pet Salon is the process of relocating to placerville drive . The new address is 416 placerville drive , by the Bean Barn. Please be patient and understanding in your calls and appts while the shop is in transition . I’ll do my best to keep things business as usual but the phone service may be intrupted. As a sole proprietor maintaining day to day activities while relocating is a bit of challenge . As always we appreciate your business and can’t wait to see you at the new location !!!

DIrty Dog Pet Salon has done it’s best to provide affordable pet grooming at competitive prices. Due to increases in cost of living, and operating a business, we have to raise our prices.
As of May 1 st 2022, prices will increase , generally 5-10 dollars depending on the size of your pet, and services received. I understand this is an inconvenience and have not done it lightly .
Dirty Dog hopes to continue to provide your pet grooming needs ! We have other changes coming as well , so keep an eye on this page !!!!! Hope to see you soon !!!!
