🍀 NOW HIRING – BARN HELP 🍀

East Bloomfield, NY

We’ve recently transitioned into a private, boutique training facility and are looking to add a few dependable helpers to our routine. We care for a small group of horses with very high standards of care.

We’re looking for individuals who can fill one or more of the following roles:

-

🐴 1) Morning Feeder (No Stall Cleaning)

🕕 Arrive between 6:00–7:00 AM

Duties include:
-Feeding grain (clearly labeled system)
-Throwing hay to pastures (heated Kubota provided)
-Turning horses out into labeled pastures
-Cleaning & refilling water troughs
-Refilling hay nets
-Dumping & cleaning water buckets (indoor wash stall with hot water)

✅ Horse experience required

🧹 2) Stall Cleaner (No Horse Handling)

Independent worker option (AM):
-Clean stalls without supervision
-Learn to operate spreader, bed stalls, hay, and blow out barns

Or

Supervised option (AM or PM):
-Work under an advanced employee
-Schedule varies based on hauling days

✅ Willing to train someone with limited experience

🌙 3) Afternoon Feeder (No Stall Cleaning)

🕞 Arrive between 3:30–4:30 PM (season dependent)

Duties include:
-Feeding grain
-Turning horses in
-Cleaning & refilling water troughs
-Filling water buckets
-Refilling hay nets

✅ Horse experience required

☀️ 4) Sunday Morning Coverage

Must handle full AM care + stall cleaning independently

🕜Arrive between 6:00–7:30 AM

This is our only day off, so reliability is critical

✅ Strong experience required

Compensation : Hourly pay (based on experience)
Open to discussing a working position for a SELF-CARE boarder

Requirements:
-Must be 18+
-Reliable transportation & working cellphone
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to follow detailed written instructions (daily changes)
-Rehab horses — no shortcuts
-Reliability is mandatory (no call/no shows or same-day call-offs result in termination)
-Part-time only at this time
-Flexible schedule preferred (weekly changes), but consistent schedules can be discussed

#1) Full onsite, care lease (All expenses)
#2) Partial, onsite (Starting as low as $200 a month, lessons required)
#3) Offsite lease - 6 month option ($2000), or 12 month option ($3000)

Remi has been crucial to our lesson program for the last 12 years. Although he is the perfect lesson horse, he has earned his right to be retired from this lifestyle. Offsite lease will only be to a solo lessee where he will have his own person.

Will be sent with his saddle, bridle, half pad, and all his blankets/fly gear.

Important Information:
-Remi will do everything from leadline to 3' safely (His lease will be limited to 2'6")
-Weight limit
-The ultimate show horse: no prep, stall to ring, no stop, self loads
-Forgives and forgets: will not hold a grudge against a rider who accidentally yanks his face off or gets left behind at a jump
-Point and shoot at any fence
-Happy to go trail ride for hours
-Requires coffin injections every 12 months
-Requires wedge shoes up front. Barefoot behind.
-Has an auto simple lead change. Has potential for a flying lead change with the right rider and program.
-Easy keeper
-Requires dorm gel for farrier. Can be done without it but is anxious to be worked on after a farrier roughed him up. Easier on him and farrier to sedate lightly.
-Remi is a nice boy who is loved by many. But has been soured by the lesson lifestyle. He does not warm up to new people quickly and will make faces at first on the ground. He goes the same under saddle, but needs some bonding time before he'll let someone hang all over him and treat him like a the big dog that he is on the ground.

Unfortunately - I've already had 2 emergency Cornell runs in the last 12 hours. Horses don't care that it's the holiday season and this weather is just adding to the perfect storm to ruin your Christmas.

We will both be available for emergency calls all day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Also will be available New Year's Eve and day as well.

Congratulations to the Bifarella family on their lease of our beloved "Sir Roanin"!

Roanin has taught an infinite number of students in his life span. At 31 years old, he is still putting the youngsters in their place and showing them how it's done.

We're so fortunate to have such amazing service providers that have allowed this boy to continue his legacy on to another deserving young rider.

We can't wait to see them in the show ring for 2026!

Although Remi has been the backbone to our lesson program for 12 years, we no longer want that life for him. He will not be leased out to any programs where he will be used with multiple different riders per day/week.

Remi is the all around saint that everyone always wants. Teaching everything from leadline to 3'. Everywhere we go, Remi has a fan club.

Remi is the ultimate packer. 3 easy, comfortable, lovely gaits. He will collect and lengthen with ease. Jumps everything and anything without so much as blinking at it. Flop on his back? No worries. Rip on his mouth? No worries. Remi has always got your back.

Remi is also the ultimate show horse. Zero prep. Zero fuss. Stall to ring. No spook, no cares. Hauls, ties, stands.

Also happy to go trail ride for hours.

Goes in a rubber D ring.

Important details to know prior to inquiring:

-Remi wears front shoes. He wears a bar on his left front. His shoeing regiment is a requirement of his lease.

-He requires annual injections in his coffins.

-Requires sedation for clipping ears and for farrier

-Has an auto simple lead change but not a flying. He does have one that could be finished off with a trainer or educated rider. But it wasn't a priority for us with the lesson students.

Will send with his custom saddle and full set of blankets.
