March is Green Bird Month!

MEET CHLOE
Chloe is a young DNA sexed female Canary winged parakeet (also known as white winged parakeet). Chloe is about 3 years old and came in with Chazz. Chloe is a little shy at first but loves to sit on your shoulder. Both she and Chazz came in with *very* extreme wing clips so if they try to fly, they fall... At least until they grow in some new flight feathers. 🥺 If smaller birds are your cup of tea, Chloe might be for you!

Rescue tour spotlight #2 shines on Parrot Hope Rescue in Mantua, OH.
Parrot Hope Rescue is a nonprofit organization based in Mantua, Ohio. They are dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of parrots, the plight of which is often overlooked in animal rescue.
Their rescue team is dedicated to the ongoing care and education of all birds in captivity. The events at the sanctuary and abroad allow bird owners the option to bring their birds for socialization and grooming.
The Rockstar Tour is looking forward to visiting and meeting the flock at Parrot Hope. If you would like to support Parrot Hope with a toy box donation please scan the QR code below. March is Green Bird Month!

MEET NED
Ned came to us without a name 🥺 so we gave him one! Ned is a DNA sexed male Yellow Crowned Amazon aged approximately 35 years. He was previously used as a breeder bird and we didn't get much information about his past. He loves to jabber and has a hilarious "evil scientist" laugh. When Ned first came, his nares (bird nostrils) had been blocked for so long that he'd actually developed rhinoliths... little stones made of dead skin, dirt, and air particles. He also lost three of his nails on one foot. He may have had some rough times before but he has opened up into quite a character with us! Come hear his laugh and see if he's right for your family.
