Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman has pledged $11 million to create a state-of-the-art sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs.

Will provide shelter, medical care, and adoption services.

Includes open play areas, rehabilitation programs, and lifelong care for unadoptable pets.

Summer is winding down. As most of you know, my full time job is teaching, and I usually take the final week of summer vacation off from dog sitting to get some things done prior to my return to school. With the school year beginning earlier and earlier it seems, that means I am now taking the third week in August as my dog-free week. Thanks to those of you who’ve inquired about dog sitting services for next week, and thank for your understanding. Remember I’m available most weekends, school vacations weeks, and holidays. I keep my business small intentionally, and while I have my regular clients whom I adore, I am willing to consider new dogs on a case-by-case basis. 🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐾❤️

This little guy was found a few nights ago at Onota Lake in Pittsfield. He was not wearing a collar or harness and is NOT microchipped.
