My name is Nikki Seavey and I LOVE farming! My husband and I live on a 17 acre homestead in Pittsfield NH. We raise 100% of our own protein on our farm to include -- beef cattle, swine and broiler chickens.
We also own horses, goats, laying chickens, a couple of barn cats and of course two (VERY SPOILED) farm dogs!
My desire to offer Farm & Pet Sitting Services came as a personal understanding to the stress that can come from trying to plan a vacation while knowing the responsibilities of leaving a full on working farm in the hands of someone else.
I think as homesteaders, we have a tendency to overwork and burn ourselves out!
It is important to remember though.... FARMERS NEED A BREAK TOO :)
