Some of you already know this, but it’s worth saying out loud—
For a very long time, I’ve wanted to bring indoor daycare to Lucky Dawgs. Ever since we put the turf down 7 years ago, it’s been the #1 request from our customers.
And while I wish I could say, “It’s done!”—what I can say is: we’ve officially secured funding for the building.
What we will be building ideally is a pole barn in our driveway. We will be adding fencing to make it easy and safe to get to the expansion from the main building. Most importantly this will add 1,800sqft of indoor daycare and add another 5,000sqft of play yard for our dogs.
We will also be adding a nice big LED sign to our entryway that will offer discounts, be informative of our hours and whatever is trending at Lucky Dawgs. We may even add a 'Dog of the day' to our sign.
Right now, we’re in the permitting stage, working back and forth with the building inspector. This part of the process takes time, money, and a little patience… and unfortunately, nothing is guaranteed just yet.
But we’re in motion. And I’ll keep you posted every step of the way.
