I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA.

From a young age, I always had two loves: animals and hockey. Growing up, I always had family pets (both dogs and cats). I also had a way of always finding wild animals in need and spent a lot of my childhood volunteering to rehabilitate injured birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc. This has stayed with me into adulthood, and during my 17 years as an elementary school teacher, my students would always r

un to me with questions about animals. After transitioning out of teaching, I started working with local dog rescues to help foster dogs in need. I've also been a Rover pet sitter and have two fur babies of my own, Skylar and Honey. In my free time, I play hockey for the Team USA Women’s Ball Hockey Team, spend sunny days on the river boating, hiking with my pups, or spending time with family and friends!
