Big guy had his vet appointment on Wednesday & is cleared! He’s got a prior injury and a limp on occasion due to it. He’s had X-rays prior to ever competing but I had some vet friends and professionals point out some concerns on his spine.
THANKFULLY he’s cleared and our visit was about 1/10 of the expected price. Thank god for insurance but I put the expected amount aside incase. 💀😅

Prior to our ownership he was knocked out using the long poke sticks or darts.

NOW? 4 years into my ownership of Lazzy boy & hes sedated orally with a decent dose but he’s still coherent & moving on his own. Were able to do cooperative care, holds, and tugs mid appointment. Our vet takes into consideration his past, his issues, and what he needs to be successful and she does it!

Full bill of health and a great vet visit!!

Apparently I never posted our trial results/pics! We competed in MondioWeen and took 3rd for lvl 1! So ding dang proud of this dog. Now to work on our lvl 2 & other big things coming next year!!

In the 3 weeks I’ve had LouC he has seen dramatic improvement in his confidence, behavior, reactions to things, and more. Im extremely impressed with how his demeanor and attitude have changed over the last 3 weeks. We really start OB next month but we’ve done a few things and worked on his prior commands. He didn’t have a lot of confidence in public places, nor would he hold any commands there either. Within the last 3 weeks he’s started to show his confidence in those situations. He’s big on checking in & seeing what I’m going to ask him in those situations. I’m so excited to see where we are in another 6 weeks. 🥺🥰

Busy few weeks!🤩
I’ve got LouC who is a 4yr old GSD with reactivity, aggression(nipped me twice, bit his owner in the face, vets were saying to muzzle him, he’s weird with guests, etc) Ontop of his OB he’s gonna be a busy boy! This is just week one for him. 1/8 weeks! We haven’t even touched his obedience yet minus working on what he knows. That also builds confidence & relationships. Our goal atm is relationship building, introducing to new things, confidence building, and a few other things.

Chip who were still working on basic OB. He only comes twice a week for day training so much slower than a board and train. He’s a young dude so we’ve spent ALOT of time socializing and just existing. A lot of success in dog training is the owner working with them when they go home! Chips owner does her absolute best, but she’s older and he’s a lot of dog tbh. I hope he learns to listen to her as he does me; but he gets away with ALOT at home that he doesn’t with me! So it’s a lot of training his owner too which we’re going to do more often as her schedule allows her to! ☺️
He’s a rescue who has some issues so overall I truly think his owner is awesome and does her absolute best. He’s just got to unlearn a lot of naughty habits from his prior life. 😉

Then of course my own dude. Got another trial on 11/1 so lots to focus on with him! He’s looking great though! Very happy with him all around.

Then over the weekend I hung out with a 9yr old geriatric pupper. He’s on meds and vet care but can’t be alone so we hung out for a few hours while his owner went out for a surprise bday dinner! She had a blast!! Finnegan & I did too!

I’ve also got a vet coming down tomorrow with her Rat Terrier who has to be majorly monitored as he’s a sneaky fellow. 😬

Chip has been coming a few days a week for daycare with a few days of day training mixed in and he’s doing wonderfully. Leash work, basic obedience, manners, outs, he’s a great guy. Lazarus has a new bff!
