I don’t take photos of these too often, but every time I look at them I think I should. Just gorgeous, impressive animals. This pair is het Abberant, but honestly I prefer the wild type to any of the morphs. Moellendorff’s Rat snake or 100 Flowers Rat snake.

Ball of Extreme Hypo Tangerine Honduran milk snakes. Two are Abberant and one is Vanishing Pattern. Nice first clutch, but they’re all male of course. Fingers crossed for a female in the next clutch.

I just had a nice litter drop in the middle of a thunderstorm from one of my Vin Russo line Crawl Cay Boas. These are one of my favorite locality boas. It’s always so satisfying getting a first litter from a female after raising her for 5-6 years and patiently watching and waiting. These boas have an almost anerythristic look if not for the pink in their sides. It’ll take a couple sheds to start seeing the nice contrast. These are beautiful and iridescent boas.

Crawl Cay is a small island off the coast of Belize that only has migratory birds for their prey a few months out of the year. This limited food source has made these boas adapt by shrinking down in size significantly from the mainland boas. They can max out at 5ft apparently, but my 5+ year old trio are probably not even 4ft and growth has rapidly slowed down. This insular dwarfism makes them the perfect pet size, as well as cheap to feed. You get all of the coolness of a boa, but at the size of a slightly thicker Corn snake.

Some day I’ll get an actual photo of my big Eastern Indigo girl, but usually she’s zipping around when I attempt photos. So this will have to do for now.

Stoked about this clutch hatching! This clutch was 26 eggs and mom is definitely double clutching. 15 of 26 babies are Rustico het Hypo. The rest are double het Hypo & Calico.

Anyone unfamiliar with these, Rustico is essentially double het Leucistic(Super Rusty) and Calico. The genes are allelic so they create a visual mutation, the Rustico.

These babies look nothing like they do as adults. I’ll put a photo of an adult in the comments that I found on Glen Reptiles page. He has the only good photos online of this morph combo, and he posts some of the nicest snake photos I’ve ever seen. Definitely check his stuff out if you haven’t.

The Extreme Hypo Tangerine VP Honduran Milksnake clutch have crawled out of their eggs! Looks like I got two with some cool abberant patterns as well. Only 4 babies but still a hell of a nice first clutch of Hondurans. These babies came out huge too, I wasn’t expecting such big babies.

Here is a follow-up on the mystery “Superconda” post I put up. Babies have all crawled out of the eggs. As you can see there are very faint dorsal markings, just barely there, and with age they’ll fade away completely.

So mystery solved, this is just an extremely high expression Conda. I’ve hatched many with just a few spots, some with more spots. Clearly this is the extreme end of the spectrum where there is almost no marking at all, giving the look of a Superconda without being one.

Stoked for this one! My first clutch of Honduran milk snakes are hatching. Pairing was Extreme Hypo Tangerine VP X Extreme Hypo Tangerine. I should’ve produced these a few years ago, but turns out I was raising multiple “females” that ended up male. Seems like because of this I missed out on the window of time where these were more rare and sought after, but I don’t care because I love them. I’ll gladly continue to breed my one pair a year as long as they’re able. When I first saw my male as a baby at an expo I was just blown away and had to have him, didn’t even initially plan to breed him.
