🐾 Meet Howie – Our Undercover Gentleman! 🐾

Howie is an approximately 6-year-old, 18 lb Chihuahua mix who was once scheduled for euthanasia — now he’s ready for a new chapter. This quiet, gentle boy has transformed from hiding under the table to seeking love from his foster family. He’s potty trained, enjoys sunbathing, and gets along with cats. Still a bit shy, Howie will thrive in a patient home that makes him feel safe and adored.

🐾 COURTESY POST – Meet Vonnegut! 🐾

Vonnegut is a 4-year-old, 17-lb small terrier mix who lives for sunshine and snuggles. Calm, gentle, and quiet, he’s crate-trained, cat-friendly, and enjoys the company of calm, similarly sized dogs.

He’s happiest in a secure yard or curled up near his people, snoozing peacefully. Vonnegut has some separation anxiety, so he’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. He was born with a congenital deformity in one back leg, but he’s pain-free, healthy, and gets around just fine.

Let’s find this sweet boy the loving, patient home he deserves.

🐾 Meet Adam Maitland Beetlejuice – Our Resilient Little Survivor! 🐾

Adam is a 4-year-old, 15 lb terrier mix with a heart of gold. After being hit by a car and breaking his back, he’s bounced back stronger than ever! While his injury left him f***l incontinent (he wears a diaper indoors), it hasn’t slowed him down one bit — he happily follows his people everywhere, zooming up and down stairs with a smile.

Shy at first, Adam quickly becomes affectionate, gently nudging his head for pets. He’s healthy, active, neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find a forever home that will love him just the way he is.

Howie is an 18 lb,, 5 year old, NEUTERED MALE Chihuahua Mix that came to us from Visalia Animal Services. He's fully vaccinated, microchipped and parasite free.

Howie is a happy boy and becoming more confident each day. He's quiet and prefers to be in a comfy bed or with his human. Toys? He's never seen one before. His favorite time is mealtime followed by treats. He's potty trained with no accidents in the home. In a new environment, we ask that you give him a learning curve until he understands where you want him to do his business. Depending on the environment, he is making progress with leash training. He was clueless wearing a collar or harness the first few weeks. He loves the outdoors basking in the warm sun. He's good around cats and mostly stays to himself. He hasn't been tested with children but we suspect he would be good with older children who know how to be respectful of shy dogs. All in all, he will make a great companion to someone who will seriously devote their time to addressing his fears and making him feel safe and loved.

Geordi La Forge STARTREK came to us in September 2024. He had a few applicants that “ghosted” him when it was time to meet. After almost a year of waiting (over 300 days to be exact) his foster mom decided it was time to make him a part of her pack. We couldn’t be happier for Geordi and his new mom.

Skye is 29lbs and 3 years old, looking for her forever home. She is a quick learner, potty trained, and knows how to use the doggy door. As a perfectly sized poodle mix, she is low/non shedding.
