Was wondering why Louie wasn’t super interested in eating her lunch, which she is usually thrilled about… and then I found the empty bread bag on the floor and it all made sense.

“And I’ll do it again, too.” - Louie 😂

Check out the second pic to see her baby bump! Herr earliest due date is May 16, but she could go as long as May 24 before we see any puppies. I’m not exactly sure when she ovulated during her honeymoon with Dodge, but let’s suffice it to say that she made sure to give that poor guy MULTIPLE opportunities to get it right. 😂😂 Dodge wasn’t complaining though! A great time was had by all. 😂😂

Today I’m working on setting up her nursery with all of her supplies. I think we’ve still got several days before puppies decide to grace us with their presence, but it’s better to be prepared.

Olivia at has done an absolutely PHENOMENAL job raising her first litter, and I am so impressed with how much her puppies already have learned at this age! The 5 remaining puppies are so incredibly smart, friendly, loving, and human focused. I know that they will set out to do good things in this world! Contact Olivia or myself directly for more info!

Crate training young puppies while they are still with their original mom/breeder is a VITAL step in preparing them for their new families. It helps the puppy associate positive feelings with being crated, which helps to create confidence, lower stress and separation anxiety, and make potty training easier. Puppies that are crate trained know that the crate is a neutral or positive space, it’s their nice little den that is safe, comfy, and good.

Steinrock's Standards - Olivia Rose has started these important steps with her beautiful puppies and I’m so proud of her for taking the time to get them set up for success. She does still have puppies available, and coincidentally I am going up to Maryland on Friday to pick up another puppy for another family, so if you need me to deliver I can! Yall. My heart is so full. ❤️❤️❤️ Denver, the puppy previously known as Bashful, is the final puppy from Olive and Sly’s litter to join their new families, and he hit the dog mom jackpot. 🥰 Check out her awesome shirt! She is soooo ready to welcome Denver and introduce him to his new big brother, Kenzo. Lisa is on top of it when it comes to training and I cannot wait to see what becomes of Mr. Denver. Side note - Denver had a VERY long day today and also a long week! He spent the week with me in Ohio and then today we flew to Portland, Oregon! In and out of multiple airports, meeting thousands of people, taking in all the sights and sounds, and this awesome little guy was wonderful. Zero accidents all day! He is so alert and pays attention to every little thing. I just absolutely adore this sweet baby. I know he is already so well loved, and I can’t wait to see updates! Happy tails, Denver! ❤️❤️

I can’t say enough good things about the amazing work that Steinrock's Standards is doing with this litter. Olivia Rose has extensive experience training service dogs, and she has worked with several of my dogs in the past. This is her first litter, and they are Bert’s grandbabies! For those of you who don’t know, Bert is one of my foundational females in my own breeding program, and her offspring have been absolutely phenomenal dogs to raise over the years. While she is retired, her descendants continue to make me so proud. They are always incredibly smart, human focused, easy to train, affectionate, intuitive, and all around wonderful. I know that this litter is in the very best hands with Olivia, and they will be set up for success with their new families. Olivia is an excellent breeder that I can absolutely recommend because she works hard to make sure the puppies have the best start to life that they can possibly have.

Louie & Dodge are expecting full size standard poodle puppies on May 15! I’m so incredibly excited for this litter. Their first litter together produced some of the most outstanding service dogs, medical alert dogs, and therapy dogs I’ve ever raised, as well as a couple of hunting dogs that are living their best lives collecting ducks and birds. 🙌🏼 I love purposeful puppies! 💖 These babies will be smart, beautiful, friendly, well socialized, playful, and affectionate.

D***y, who is now known as Harper, got to meet his wonderful new family today! 🥰🥰 He really lucked out with a family that is fully prepared to spoil him rotten with tons of love, lots of travel and adventures from New York to Florida and everywhere in between. I know Harper is going to be so happy with his loving family, and I can’t wait to hear about his adventures! Happy tails, Harper! ❤️❤️
