Katie and her Book Club babies are doing well. 🥰 They’re 8 days old and as cute and snuggly as they could be. I love them so much. ❤️❤️

Katie’s babies are a week old already?! What?! How is that possible?! Time just flies!!! I have been soaking up every single second loving on these perfect babies and their wonderful momma. 🥰❤️

This litter is reserved, but if you’re interested in my upcoming litter of moyen sized standard poodles, Olive is due approximately September 18.

After that my next litter of full sized standard poodles will be this winter.

The puppies are 6 days old and just thriving! Look how chubby they’re getting!! 😍😍 Katie is an awesome mom. No hungry puppies on her watch! It’s so fun to see how excited she gets to show off her puppies. You can tell that she’s so proud of them and just adores them. ❤️

Hey friends! I’ve had a LOT of people reach out to me recently about getting a puppy (since Katie’s litter has been born) and while I don’t currently have any available puppies right now (until my next litter), my good friend Paulena has a couple of gorgeous male standards that are still looking for their new families. She’s based out of Indiana, and I am happy to recommend her. She is doing a wonderful job raising these beautiful boys and I’ve met one of her puppies in person myself. You hear breeders talk all the time about how important the bond between mom and her puppies is, but the bond that a puppy has with his littermates is just as vital. Siblings in a litter can communicate with each other by twitching in their sleep, which alerts the other puppies that they are safe and thriving. (It also develop brain activity). They also climb over each other which helps to build muscle and reduce the risk of a flat chest where pneumonia could easily build up. As they get older they learn how to growl, bark, play, defend themselves and each other, and share resources. Siblings learn so much from each other, and these lessons are vital to their survival and development.

Before they’re ready to bond with their new human families that will love them forever, they first bonded with their canine family, who loved them first. 🤎🤍
