A fellow angel rescuer found these babies in a dumpster, she was able to trap the feral mother and transport the litter of 5 to her home. Mom being in a strange environment, young, and scared to death she was unable to care for her babies. After loosing 2 babies the rescuer reached out to me to see if I could attempt to save the remaining 3.

When I received them on May 13th they were weak, unable to suck so we went straight to tube feeding. (They were also positive for coccidiosis)

After about a week we were able to transition them from tube feeding to bottle feeding. They are strong happy healthy babies now. They love their milk.

Feral mom has been spayed.

Below is a few photos.

Meet Rocky😸

He came into care on May 13th. When we picked him up I was almost for sure he would only be with us for a few hours. He had a very faint heartbeat. He went straight onto my chest because I wanted him to feel warmth and comfort for the rest of the time he had left earth side. After about an hour he let out a faint little cry. I then went into action.

He had a horrific smell, after close examination I noticed he had a puncture wound on his neck. He was skin and bones and very dehydrated. I shaved and cleaned the wound, gave him Sub Q fluids, and tube fed him a small amount of Kitten formula. Gave him nutrical (high calorie sugary paste) Placed him in a warm bed with a heating pad. After a few hours he started moving around and letting out the tiniest of whimpers.

I worked with him every 2 hours for the 1st week he was in care. Cleaning his abscess on his neck, treating him for Giardia and coccidiosis, and ensuring he had plenty of nutrition.

His name is Rocky because he is our little fighter, he is a happy healthy boy now, tomorrow he has been in our care for 4 weeks. (He was approximately 5 days old when he came into our home)
He will be going up for adoption in the next few weeks. He has a small scar, but this strong boy will always have a reminder of how far he has come.

Below is a few photos of his progress.

Hi.
Welcome to our little group. This will be a place where I share the good and bad of fostering and nurturing neonatal kitties. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for joining this group and allowing me the opportunity to save as many babies as possible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️If you need assistance please send a private message to this page. I will respond as fast as possible. But most importantly if you are in possession of tiny kitties DO NOT attempt to feed them cows milk. Please keep them as warm as possible. Blanket, heating pad on ⭐️LOW⭐️, 20oz bottle (or larger filled with hot water covered in a cloth) and allow babies to snuggle to it. These tiny ones can not regulate their body temperature! Keeping them warm until getting the proper care is way more important than attempting to feed.⭐️⭐️
