This is not one of my normal posts, but I thought it was something worth mentioning: I’m officially a college graduate! 🎓✨

As summer officially fades and fall begins to settle in, I’ve been thinking about one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever painted: “Southern Nights.” Named after the Glen Campbell song I grew up loving, this painting was inspired by one of my many research trips through the coastal wetlands at the southern tip of Louisiana. On our way back north to Ruston, we passed through Houma and spotted this house at sunset while I was listening to that song. As most of my art is inspired by Louisiana, I knew instantly I had to paint it.

The finished piece is a 36”x48” canvas, rich in color and memory. It’s currently available for $160! If “Southern Nights” speaks to you, feel free to message me! I’d love for it to find the right home. 🖼️
