Meet Lucky the kitten. He was brought in as a found kitten with an injury a couple days ago. He went to the vet today and is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to have his tail amputated. He is such a cute and funny kitten and going to feel so much better soon.

Please be patient with us if you typically buy dog food from us. We have not been able to order food for stock as we are under construction but as soon as we are done we will have all the dog food and cat food back in stock plus more! Stay tuned! We are so excited.

Kitten update

You all have made us speechless with your generosity . We have had so many people step up that there is no way we can even begin to express how much we appreciate it.

All 14 kittens are currently residing in foster homes!!! That means they get to enjoy being loved on and socializing until they are old enough for all needed vet work and then adoption.

We had 2 adult cats adopted today! seriously it’s been slow in adoptions so this is impressive.

Burnett Humane Society is taking 3 of our longer term cat residents to place them in there adoption rooms and providing us with some much needed vaccines and microchips for all the kittens.

The volume of donations has pulled us out of the negative numbers and therefore has allowed us to take in another kitten today that is in dire need of medical attention. She will be seeing the vet on Friday and we are anticipating she may need surgery to remove part of her tail. She is super cute and sweet so be on the lookout for when she is available for adoption.

Our now 3 legged cat that had the cancer on her foot it doing fantastic and should be available to the right now in the near future.

Update! You are all awesome! We have matched this 1000! We have received the following amount and therefore I am making arrangements to start vaccines on the kittens and pick up supplies until they are old enough to be spayed and neutered. We have some going to foster homes to be loved on but we are still working on the logistics of who goes where.

Wow we are just at a loss for words on this one. A couple of kind ladies stopped in today asking for help. They were at the fur trading post today and when the left and pulled out of the driveway they saw kittens on the road and picked them up. They also saw that there were 2 boxes that were taped up and the kittens has chewed there way out of them. We took the kittens and then after work drove back to see if there were more.

What we found mortified us. We walked along the road and found a total of 14 kittens at this point. We found TWO boxes of kittens taped shut and they were inside just crying away. Someone drove down the road chucking boxes of kittens into the ditch. They are young some don’t even look 8 weeks old.

We have make a report with the Sherrif and the Sherrif came out there. We do have a lead on it but if ANYONE has info on this please call the Pine County Sherrif department and let them know what you know.

Unfortunately we are not in a good place for this as we are so full and low on funds.

All these kittens will need vet care and homes. If anyone can help sponsor a kitten to help with cost we would be ever so grateful.
