This page is to showcase Mystic Meadows Training and lesson program. This page will be designed to share with you training events, clinics, training openings, etc. To introduce myself as the head trainer. I am a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and horse trainer. I specialize in Tennessee Walking Horse training. I have ridden horses since I was 10 years old. Our family purchased our first TWH wh

en I was 11. After graduation from MSU I have returned back to the family farm to teaching riding lessons and train horses. Our program is built around gaining a confident, controlled, happy gaiting horse who's owner is also educated about their equine. We encourage owner participation and include training lessons with all my training packages. I work out of our family owned and operated farm, Mystic Meadows Training, in Pinckney Michigan. We also have a great group of lesson horses that are ready to teach you more about the gaited breeds. Our program included rides from age 3-99, beginner through advanced. Heather Aboud is our main riding instructor for incoming students. Her wealth of knowledge and compassion for her students is very welcoming when you sign up for lessons. Lessons include everything horse, starting with leading, grooming, tracking and riding. We look forward to meeting many of you and your equine partners!

Many people have asked the question of what do you do with the animals during this cold weather. Well this is what AI does! Lol

What we actually are doing to ensure health and safety is our animals is shelter from wind, plenty of warm water, and a ton of hay. Some are wearing blankets, some are wearing blankets with hoods, some are still all natural/ naked. All are doing wonderfully. I truly believe you do what's best for the individual animal. They are all doing great.

Now my barn workers, that's another story. They are working extra super hard in tough elements. I can't thank them all enough for still showing up. Doing the extra work it takes to help the animals and farm through these extreme temperatures. Even with 10 layers of warm clothing on!! You're the best!!!

Gaited pony mare offered for consideration. Bandee, Banner’s Royal Delight, a beautiful all black registered TWH mare with fabulous mane and tail!

Throughout her 18 years she’s done it all, breed shows, western dressage shows, MI Shore to Shore, obstacle challenges, judged trail rides, clinics, guided trail rides in NC, and best of all, an owner’s best friend!

Bandee is approximately 13.2hh and is best suited for smaller riders who are looking for a little more whoa. She needs maintenance for hocks which are affected by heavier work (i.e. recent training program for western dressage). She would be happiest with a home that doted on her and would prefer light trail and arena work with the right rider. She is the perfect horse for a horse family with younger riders or small senior riders looking for a confident and consist smooth mount. She has years of love to give (especially for those who come with treats). She is safe, reliable and easy to have on the farm. She has been pastured with both mares and geldings.

Spent some time at Pinckney Rec opening the eyes of a young horse to a whole new world. Truly trusted Rusty to lead her down the trails. Started out jumpy and excited and settled right down in to place at the end of the lead rope behind us. Sometimes being the second horse in line sometimes the scary last place in line. Up and down hills, over logs, through some tricky washout trails, over bridges, so much to see and do!! Thank you to Anne and Dude for being out there with us!! #

I specialize in Gaited Horse training. I have ridden horses since I was 8 years old. Our family purchased our first TWH when I was 11 after showing in the Morgan Horse association for year. After graduation from MSU I returned back to the family farm to teaching riding lessons and train horses. In 2017 my husband and I purchased our own training facility in Pinckney, MI. My program is built around gaining a confident, controlled, happy gaiting horse who's owner is also educated about their equine. I encourage owner participation and include training lessons with all my training packages. I am also taking my training on the road with clinics this year.
