Few different poses. Plugging away at some birds. Got to mix it up and get some long overdue fish out and finished this summer. As well as start getting deer heads flipped before the fall. Got my help helping me with the bear right now! Thanks again for everyone's patience. It's hard when you're an all -around, do it all taxidermist. Specializing in different categories. Not too common anymore. I'm scaling back to meet the most popular demands. The production organization gets a little crazy switching back and forth, and keeping supplies and materials on hand to do it all. It's not easy. Everyone have a relaxing summer, we'll see you soon! God Bless! Prayers to stay healthy this year.

I see this a lot. I just have to post this to hopefully help someone. Not everyone is on my business taxidermy page. If you're thinking of mounting your trophy. Don't do this. It's caused by running up to your turkey and grabbing him by the neck. Which triggers his nerves more and flop flop feathers are gone. Or some like to do the foot stomp. Lol! I raise my hand I used to do the same. Been there done that. Or we'll grab his legs which will get a spur in your hand. He'll twist and spin on you and you will break his fibula. I know sometimes it's unavoidable on mountain sides etc. .... I get it, our Adrenaline is flowing and we think we got to get on that turkey to make it official. Lol! The best thing to do is sit there. let him flop a little bit. Smoke that cigar, eat your snack cake or your apple in my case.. thank the good Lord then get him. Anyways do what you want. But the tip is, think about that mount and your taxidermist.
