The yearlings are starting to shape up!
We love how much this filly by Gunnatrashya resembles her dam Spook In Sparks (LTE $32,763, PE $41,762) and grand dam Setting Off Sparks (PE $684,301).
She comes from a long line of proven mare power in the show pen as well as in the breeding barn.

‘Oscar’ and Bernard had a beautiful run in the L4 Open Finals of the European Futurity and finished 9th!
The duo only had a couple of weeks to get to know each other! We are thrilled with their debut and can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds for them!

Spook In Sparks is by Smart Spook and out of our great mare Setting Off Sparks.
With only 4 foals of show age, Spook In Sparks has already produced $32,470.

Sterling Ranch features a state of the art mare and foal barn where foaling out can be electronically monitored from the staff living quarters inside the building. In the breeding area there is a large modern laboratory and semen shipping center as well as facility for frozen semen storage. The on call veterinarians of Weems & Stevens are only 2 miles from the Ranch. Surrounding the Mare Barn are pipe and rail paddocks some set in shaded Pecan tree groves and surrounded by tranquil creek fed ponds. Care of mares and foals is our top priority and specialist care is given from foaling through weaning to halter breaking and handling by our experienced staff.
