We handed off Sage a few weeks back to our good friend and excellent trainer at Artemis Run Kennels. I had the pleasure of training Sage for her obedience and now she is off to a good start on her gun dog training. We are excited to see what a wonderful hunter she turns into.

We absolutely love this time of year. It’s the time of the year where the dogs do what they love and I have the pleasure of being along for the ride. As hunting season is starting to wind down here in a few weeks I have realized one thing. The bond a man has with his dogs is truly like nothing else and it cannot be explained easily. The best way I can explain it is God made the dog to be a man’s best friend and that’s the only way it can be explained.

The Wetumpka wildlife show was great this year. There were some great local trainers that I am glad to call my friends. We are thankful for not coming home with this puppy but she sure made our girls day. Covey-Flush-Kennels, Artemis Run Kennels, and Steady Point Kennels.
