We have something to learn from just about everybody. Even my youngest, most novice student has something to teach me!

🐴 BEING BETTER AT SOMETHING DOESN’T MAKE YOU BETTER THAN SOMEONE.

Read that again.

Somewhere along the way, people started confusing knowledge with superiority, experience with authority, and success with the right to judge others.

But here’s something horses have taught me…

You can be incredibly talented and still have a lot to learn.

You can have years of experience and still be wrong.

You can have all the credentials in the world and still lack compassion.

And you can be a beginner with very little experience and have something valuable to teach the rest of us.

Knowledge should make us humble, not arrogant.

It’s how they treat the horse in front of them.

True happiness comes from Joy and Blessings from our father.
In the past I have lost myself by changing who I am to fit in.
That is what drew me to horses and not people. Teaching others what the horse needs and not what people need.
Happiness in day to day does not last in this world. Relying on others for approval and happiness will always have its ups and downs.
True happiness does not come from others. It comes from above.

Do you have an equestrian team who could use some speed classes coaching?

In my lessons I can give you pointers for problems such as shouldering horses for example. I can help you get through a run while also showing you how to address the issue going forward.

I prefer to teach in groups of 3 or more but I can come to you if you are in the Grand Rapids area.
