I want to take a moment to shout out three businesses that have been so incredibly supportive of us since the very beginning of Let’s Stay Home. Claire's Kennels, LLC, Ulti-MUTT Dog Care, and Prairie Paws in Murdo.
When I started Let’s Stay Home, I was only 18 years old. Starting a business was nerve-wracking enough, but starting one in a community where there are already other people caring for animals came with a lot of uncertainty. I remember wondering if people would actually trust us with their pets, if we would be able to build something successful, and where we would fit into the local pet-care community.
From day one, these businesses have been nothing but kind, welcoming, and supportive 🥹
What I love most is that even though we all work in the same realm and serve many of the same types of clients, there has never been a feeling of “competition.” Instead, there has been encouragement, support, referrals, advice, and genuine excitement for one another.
They truly believe that there is room for everyone to succeed, and I think that is such a beautiful mindset to have.
At the end of the day, we all have the same reason for doing what we do: we love animals and want the very best for them ❤️
I’m so grateful to be part of a community with businesses who understand that we can lift each other up, cheer each other on, and still grow alongside one another.
