Dreams Disabled R Elderly Animal Mountain Sanctuary DREAMS has been dedicated to saving seniors out of central valley shelters since 1998. SO far DREAMS has been keeping things small due to limited income.

DREAMS..."A rescue sanctuary tucked into the hills of the California's Central Valley for disabled and senior animals in need, surrounding its residents in peace and love." Some seniors reaching us before getting to shelters when their owner passes away, or if senior & found on streets as stray. With so many seniors in need after 15 years of being a private sanctuary we have started working on non

profit status in California. Where when money permits we can rescue many senior or disabled animals in need. We are striving to be a hospice sanctuary for critical seniors in their last months. We have around 40 acres in the foothills of central California where our home sanctuary is located. We are a no cage, roam free home where the seniors are only crated when I am away in town a few hours, when needed.

Blaky is at peace now, no more pain 😢
I got Blaky in Wednesday morning to help her across the bridge. I am so thankful she got to have a couple years of love, and comfort before it was her time.
🤲🏼 And I am so thankful for Robbie Ramjet, & Michael Miller, for continually, month after month, being there consistently for DREAMS seniors. They’re appreciated more than any words could convey. 🫶🏽 without these two, I would have to relocate some of the younger rescues. 😰
Robbie was the only donor (once again) when we needed some medical funding. When Brutus was in need, the same thing happened, until I mentioned it, and then several others thankfully came through.
I cannot continue DREAMS, without the help of our followers. My monthly disability check doesn’t stretch very far. 🙏🏼 with Blaky gone we still have 15 dogs to care for, along with a pig, & cockatoo.. 🐾❤️
with Dr Singh not around for us to receive discounts on vetting, I cannot afford regular vets costs. I called several vets, and majority were around $300 just to euthanize. Thankful Sunnyside had more resonable euthanasia costs. So I will be using them for euthanasia now.

Blaky and Romo both made it another year. Romo has been with me over 4 yrs, and Blaky just had her 2 yr home day last week.
Sadly it’s Blaky’s last year. While giving Blaky her bath this morning I discovered her tumor has started to ulcerate. I came down the hill to post for her/them, and to call the dr’s to see if either Alta, or Family Pet can get her in today. She has been eating alright, but when the mass starts to ulcerate, it becomes to uncomfortable for them. ❤️‍🩹

We had a visitor this morning, hiding out front. Hamilton several times a day flips his water bowls over, so it’s time to take the big trough from the kennel, and let Hammy use it as his pool/cooling off station. Go to turn the water on, to fill it up, & mister rattler was right by the faucet 😰

Brutus crossed over yesterday morning. 🪽🌈
Brutus, and his bonded mate Bessie were rescued from Los Banos shelter around 2 yrs back.
At the time both had heart murmurs, and Brutus had thyroid issues.
He was one tough little guy. He liked very few dogs, and even less people. He’d snarl and growl at anyone, human or dog, if he didn’t want you around.
Like typical Chi behavior, after a while he warmed up to me, and we were bonded for life. 🥰
Bessie was moping around all day yesterday without her lil man ❤️‍🩹
$50. was raised for Brutus’ cremation (thanks Robbie). 🫶🏽
If anyone else could please help with the remaining balance of $60., I’d greatly appreciate it. 🐾❤️

Brutus is needing some prayers over this weekend, for a peaceful transition 🙏🏼 If he doesn’t pass on his own, I will need to take him in Monday to help him across. He’s been real sluggish this past week, not wanting to do anything but sleep. His appetite has slowed throughout the week, and today he didn’t eat at all. 🙏🏼

Popeye crossed over yesterday afternoon. 🪽🌈
Popeye was rescued from Stanislaus last year. Popeye had issues getting around, and breathing issues, but he was always such a happy, content, chunk.
I’m surprised he had this many months in him. He will be missed. Pepper several times throughout the day would keep his eyes clean for him.
I could tell the past couple weeks he was slower than usual getting around, & that he probably didn’t have much longer. I had an MRI yesterday, and when I got back home Popeye had passed. It seems peacefully while sleeping. Fly high Popeye 🪽🌈
