Perseverance is the key! Thanks for the advice…

You don’t need to be ready. You need to start.

I see people wait YEARS to do things because they’re waiting for the perfect situation.

The perfect breeding group.

More money.

More space.

More knowledge.

A better camera.

More followers.

Whatever.

Meanwhile, someone with half the resources just starts.

Their first videos suck.

Their first business idea doesn’t work.

They make bad purchases.

They screw things up.

But three years later, they’re miles ahead because they’ve spent three years learning while everyone else was still “getting ready.”

I’ve made plenty of mistakes building Jason’s Exotic Reptiles.

I’d make every one of them again before choosing to sit on the sidelines waiting until I knew everything.

You don’t learn how to build a business by thinking about building one.

You learn by building.

Start small.

Get better.

Adjust.

Join the Riverbanks chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) next week on Saturday, August 29th at Craft Axe Throwing in Columbia for Axe Throws for Rhinos!

Next Saturday, proceeds all day from both the Downtown Columbia and Lexington Craft Axe locations will directly benefit rhino conservation. From 6:00-8:00PM at the Downtown location, AAZK will be having a silent auction and raffle. Proceeds from that fundraiser will go directly to rhino conservation!

No need to be an axe-pert... Just have fun knowing you're benefitting rhino conservation around the world! 🦏
