🏈 HOMECOMING + ADOPTABLE DOGS = THE PERFECT TEAM! 🐾

We’re taking some of our adoptable dogs on the road for a special Homecoming Adoption Event!! We’ll also have small squishy footballs and stickers for the kids while supplies last! ❤️🖤

Three little puppies + one Pretzel 🥨

Lance, Lucy and Linda are 3 months old and ready to start growing up somewhere other than the shelter. These three cuties are each a little different, but they have one very important thing in common — they need families of their own!

And then there’s Pretzel. At 5 years old and just 15 lbs., he may not be part of the puppy crew, but we couldn’t leave that scruffy little face out. 😂 Pretzel is dog friendly, heartworm negative and ready for his own home too!

Lance, Lucy, Linda and Pretzel are $65 to adopt, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines and preventions.

Have your heart set on someone a little bigger? All dogs over 25 lbs. currently have FREE adoptions! ❤️

Come meet them and don’t forget to bring a leash and collar in case you leave with a new best friend!

Demo spent the weekend on an Adventure Buddies sleepover and came back with a pretty impressive report card! 🥰🐾

His Adventure Buddy said Demo was very well-mannered, housebroken, crate trained and did great in the home! 💛

Now, walking on a leash? That’s when Demo remembers his true hound heritage. 🤣 Nose to the ground, sniffing EVERYTHING and temporarily forgetting that the human attached to the other end of the leash exists. His nose has places to go and smells to investigate!

Demo is a 5-year-old, 70-pound neutered male who is dog friendly and heartworm negative. His weekend away gave us an even better look at what this handsome guy could be like in a home — and he sounds like a pretty great roommate!

ALICE’S ADVENTURE BUDDY REPORT IS IN! ❤️
Alice recently spent some time away from the shelter with an Adventure Buddy, and she absolutely loved getting to experience life in a home! Her Adventure Buddy got to see a side of Alice that can be hard to show inside a kennel — a sweet girl who loves hanging out, playing with other dogs and being part of the family. 🥹

Now Alice is back at the shelter and hoping her next adventure ends with an adoption. ❤️

Not ready to adopt? Become an Adventure Buddy!
Take one of our dogs out for a few hours, overnight, for the weekend or even up to a week. Go for a walk, grab a pup cup, have a movie night or just let them enjoy being a couch dog for a while.
These adventures give our dogs a break from the shelter while helping us learn more about who they are in the real world — just like Alice’s Adventure Buddy did for her.
🐾 Want a forever buddy? Come meet Alice.
🐾 Can’t adopt right now? Take an Adventure Buddy out instead.

🎨 Meet Picasso — our very own masterpiece!

At just 9 months old, Picasso is still a puppy with plenty of life, love and adventures ahead of him. This handsome boy is about 45 pounds, neutered, heartworm negative and dog friendly.

And seriously... LOOK AT THAT FACE. 🥹 Those eyes, that head tilt — Picasso clearly understood the assignment. 😂
