Meet our friend Sammy 🐶. He's a fan favorite here at Animal Health Clinic. You know the old saying that cats have 9 lives? Well our friend Sammy has at least that many too. He's had a rough go of it his first year of life. He's a BIG fan of taking naps under tires 🛞 and his latest hobby includes fighting 🐍, conveniently when his mama was out of town too!
The snake 🐍 almost won this fight but thanks to Dr. Alan, strong antibiotics, some antivenin, and the good Lord above, Sammy has made a full recovery and lives to fight another day.
Summertime ☀️is here folks! It's hot! 🔥Snakes are on the move! It's imperative to act quickly if you notice a bite to prevent an abscess like Sammy's that can lead to sepsis. We are so thankful for a happy ending to this story! If your pet needs us, you know where to find us!
