We started the farm in 1987 on one acre and fell in love with the berries.

We have 55 acres now with a few sheep, cattle and 13 acres of blueberries and have planted some blackberries this year to see how they will do. We have opened the farm for people to come and pick their own berries and have a good time swapping stories. Our aim is to grow the best berries we can and provide an interesting and enjoyable experience for kids and adults.

A big shout out to all of our blueberry characters. You were quite a cast. No matter the size, age, or species, you all had young hearts, big smiles (okay so some of you berries had attitude 😁), and a love of fun. We will miss you! Please look forward to next year when we will have a new character cutout. Shhhh it is a surprise!

Tomorrow, Sunday, July 5th is the LAST DAY to pick blueberries for the 2026 blueberry season. To thank everyone for an awesome season, despite all the rain in early June, we have decided to extend our customer appreciation sale price of $10 per gallon into tomorrow.

We really enjoyed seeing everyone this year and hope you will all return next year. If you were able to come out this week, we would love to see any pictures that you took. Feel free to share them on our page or tag us as you are the reason that we continue to keep the farm going. Below are a few pictures that our customer Ailenne ( from Chalmette) shared with us today. It makes us berry happy to see families and young people, as well as those that are young at heart enjoy the farm.

If you come out tomorrow please thank our farm manager Della and the rest of the staff (Sarah, Krista, and Rocky) for working so hard this season. We couldn't do this without them. They are really good berries! We also want to thank the Estrada family for all of their support. Especially Cassie who is in charge of maintaining the fields and bushes. Again without him, we would not have such a beautiful place.
