About me: My name is Erin Marion, I have been around dogs since I was born in Chester Springs Pennsylvania. I built my business from

the ground up in Portland, Oregon and now I am back to my roots in PA! When I was little all of my favorite memories were stuffing my nose into any dog book or animal book I could find. Raised with an 80lb Bouvier De Flandres, I never had a fear of dogs or animals (considering our family dog looked like a bear). Her unique outlook on animal behavior opened my eyes to seeing animals differently. Once I adopted my first dog who suffered from extreme separation anxiety, leash aggression and much more I started to obsess over all there was about dogs and being a good dog owner to a high energy canine. Eleven years later I have taken every seminar, class, one-on-one talk, and even my own clients experience and have molded them into my training method. I make sure every client feels heard, respected and appreciated ! I am here to help you and your dog become a team. Yes, training the dog is a part of it, but truly this is me training you to strengthen your commands, body language, and appreciation for your dog and for yourself. I specialize in helping deaf and blind dog guardians create a unique and special language to be able to communicate with their dog effectively. I am also an official training partner for Speak! St Louis and All 4 Paws rescues. For training questions email :

Limited spots remaining for this Sunday’s Life Skills class on the farm …don’t wait!

Life Skills is designed for dogs who need to build confidence and reliability in the real world. We work through the everyday essentials loose leash walking, focus, impulse control, greeting manners, and more in a small group setting on our working farm. The farm environment is intentional. With goats, chickens, and wide open space as your backdrop, your dog learns to think, settle, and respond even when the world around them is busy and unpredictable.

This is not a warehouse training facility. This is hands-on, thoughtful work in an environment that genuinely challenges your dog in the best way possible and builds the kind of foundation that carries into real life.

Spots for this Sunday are almost gone. Additional classes are already available on the schedule, and summer programming will be posted THIS WEEK.

📲 check out my website for the schedule and reserve your spot.

10 years of learning from dogs, clients, heartbreak, risk, community, and growth.

When I started this business, I truly had no idea where it would lead me. I just knew I wanted to build something that felt different.

Somehow that turned into a community, a career, a farm camp, and a life I’m incredibly grateful for.

To every client, dog, friend, and supporter who has been part of this journey: thank you for growing alongside me.

And to younger me charging $40 sessions while hoping someone would take a chance on her… I'm so proud of you.

1. Learn your deaf and blind dogs through observing them! Watch them and turn into if they are trying to talk to you and just may not know how.

2. Body language! What do they look like when they're nervous, scared, excited, about to bark etc.

3. Routine! Scheudles and repetition are so helpful. Most deaf and blind dogs don't have a positive start to life, we have to help them learn to predict things and feel safe. Think of bringing the outside inside first. Bring smells from outside in, sounds from outside in etc.

Hi, I’m Erin and I help dog parents of deaf and blind dogs understand how to communicate and life a full life with their dogs!

If you’ve been looking for a dog sport that fits your real life and a community of handlers who are as enthusiastic about learning as they are unpretentious about it I want to tell you about Down to Earth Rally Obedience.

Rally-O is a navigational obedience sport where you and your dog work through a course of numbered signs together. Each sign asks for a specific skill a turn, a halt, a change of pace, a stationary behavior and your job as the handler is to guide your dog through the course fluidly and confidently. It is precision work, but it’s also joyful. The handler and dog are a true team.

My in-person Rally-O classes take place right here on the property in open air, with real-world environmental context!

For those training from anywhere else in the world, my colleague Mattison Skoog-Simpson and I run a Rally-O online club together. Every month we teach a free class, and members have access to a full sign library broken down to be as learner-friendly as possible, because we believe the sport should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Your subscription to our club is donation based and a portion of the donations go to a different charity each quarter!

This club is built for dog guardians who don’t feel the need to compete and simply want to deepen their connection with their dog and find their people. No trial pressure, no performance anxiety just a grounded, welcoming group of handlers who love this sport and love their dogs.

BONUS: this community is for every dog. Deaf dogs, blind dogs, deaf-blind dogs Rally-O is an adaptable sport and we have made sure there is a place here for handlers navigating sensory differences with their dogs.

Both the in-person class and the online club are linked in my bio/website!
