Seriously, Redz has been looking… and looking… and LOOKING for his forever family. With a face like this, **how has his person not found him yet?!**

This handsome **13-month-old red Doberman** is being returned to DVDPA **through absolutely no fault of his own**, so we’re asking everyone to help us get his adorable face in front of the right family.

JJ is his Dad's 8th rescued doberman !! Thank you so very much for supporting rescue for so many years..

there are 2 weeks left to get your entry in and we still have a ways to go to reach our goal.. we currently sit at $6360.00 ( which is AMAZING ) and we have 52 entries !!!!!!

Dont forget this is open to ALL DOBERMANS NOT JUST RESCUES, because we know your love of the breed is not dependent on where or how you found the love of your life, and everyone can agree DVDPA does excellent work all year round..

1. Entry fee is 25.00 which includes the full color glossy calendar and a guaranteed spot in it. Once you enter SHARE it with all your friends and ask them to support you, votes are 1.00 each.

2. Voting - Voting is open to all, and its 1.00 a vote.

3. Pre-order - You don't have to enter to enjoy 12 months of Dobermans ! You can pre-order a calendar or even order extras as gifts.

****Welcome Monday and Welcome Charley to the DVDPA 2027 Calendar contest and fundraiser.. ****

His name is **Charley Heart**—a name I chose many years ago after Snyper passed away. Floyd's middle name is Charles, and his heart is filled with so much love from all of our Dobies. Charley also has a little white spot on his chest that I call his **Kaleidoscope**. Floyd calls it his "button" and says that whenever it's pushed, something magical happens ✨️ 🐾♥️

Charley is "El Naturale," as I like to say—from nose to tail! I'd never had a Doberman with a tail before, but his is absolutely adorable. I call it **"Curly Q with an upside-down Mohawk & a sparkler at the end!**

To me, Charley is the gift of a lifetime. ✨❤️

Charley is all decked out is his 4th of July best... so that being said
WHERE ARE ALL OUR DECKED OUT HOLIDAY DOBERMANS ??

we NEED and WANT your New years, Christmas, Easter, St Pattys , HALLOWEEN !!!!! and so on Pictures for the Calendar.. they are always an awesome edition to every month !

ELI is just one of of the many beautiful dobermans who is entered into our 2027 DVDPA calendar contest and fundraiser..

We thank his family for continuing to support rescue..

We currently have 45 entries and there's room for so many more.

This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and helps us help them all year round. Every dollar counts. Voting is only 1.00 . Entry fee is 25.00 and includes the calendar and a spot in it.

Welcome Sir Charles to the 2027 DVDPA calendar contest and fundraiser ... thank you so very much to your Mom for entering you and helping support Rescue and all the important work we do every single day

His mom writes :

You’re right — the rescue/adoption origin doesn’t belong in this story, and the contest point should be cleaner.

Sir Charles Barkley — Charley to those who know and love him — is a true Jeep dog. One of our favorite photos is of him riding along in the Jeep, exactly where he believes he belongs.

Last year, Charley underwent cervical arthroplasty to treat Wobbler syndrome, a serious neurological condition that affects many Dobermans. His recovery has been a long and difficult road, and even a year later, we are still working hard to help him regain strength and mobility.

We continue to support his recovery with physical therapy, acupuncture, rehabilitation, patience, and a whole lot of love.

Charley also won this contest last year, and we were grateful for the opportunity to use his story to help bring awareness to Wobbler syndrome. A year later, that mission means even more to us because we now understand firsthand just how difficult and unpredictable recovery can be.

Through it all, Charley still has that same Jeep-dog spirit.

He is still our Sir Charles Barkley. Still determined. Still loved beyond measure. Still fighting.

And we’re still right beside him for every mile of the journey.
