Meet our Tuesday 2026 Calendar dogs - XIM and NIC

Xim & Nic have never known the hardship of losing their home, but often find themselves sharing their good fortune with dogs temporarily needing a soft space to land.

We are so very grateful for all our Fosters, they are the glue that holds this all together because without them we would not be able to rescue Dobermans who just need a soft, safe space to crash until their forever homes are found.

While Xim & Nic are not rescues themselves, they have shared their home with many who are and we thank them for that.

Just a reminder you do not have to have a rescue Doberman to enter the 2026 DVDPA Calendar contest. Its a great way to give back to the breed we all love and allow DVDPA to continue to rescue, care for and place the ones who come into our care.

Ripley looks as surprised as we do that Monday came so fast !

We have 2 more weeks until our DVDPA 2026 Calendar contest ends. We currently sit just shy of $6000. You still have plenty of time to enter, vote or Preorder.

A few reminders
1. Every entry includes the Calendar and every Entry gets a spot !
2. If you have already entered Thank you, and remember to keep sharing your Dogs entry for Votes !
3. All Dobermans are welcome, not just rescues

Bella was adopted from your rescue, she was named “Boo-Boo” at that time. I brought her home in July of 2023 & she has thrived ever since. She is the sweetest most gentle Dobie. She is very active & loves playing ball at the park, followed by a long walk. She is very special to this family & loves her two brothers.

The DVD PA calendar contest is in full swing, we have made it to a little over halfway to our goal and we are very excited about it. Remember it's not too late for you to enter and this is open to all Dobermans not just rescues. If you don't have a dog to enter you can vote or pre-order. Summer isn't over yet and just to prove that today's featured calendar Doberman is summer...

Summer is a rescue from dvdp! She came to us back in 2017 . She has been such a great rescue. This girl has reach mile stones for being a rescue girl!! She exceeds in obedience, rally fast cat and nose work!!
Love this girl💕💕💜 💜

Memories are treasured and so bittersweet. Every time their photos pop up on my phone it reminds me of how cherished each day we were blessed to share their lives. They each took a piece of our hearts when they crossed the rainbow bridge. Heartstrings from heaven are forever.

We are horoned that they are entered in our Calendar.
