It's our first time...

Hard to believe, but it's our first time visiting the Chicago area in person. We'll be at the 2026 Aquashella Festival in Schaumburg, Illinois, this weekend September, 26 and 27th.

Can't wait to see you there - we'll be at booth 85

It may have ran a little too long...

But it still took less than a minute to pull, clean and reinstall the NOSOK in the big reef tank.

We had this NOSOK setup with filter floss and screen but going forward,  we'll run it with just the 255-micron filter screen - until the next water change.

That saves us both time AND cost. Its hard to beat the convenience of the NOSOK.

Live aquarium filtration?

Getting ready to travel to Reefapalooza California this weekend and look what I found inside this 2.75in NOSOK that we run in our 10-gallon Waterbox cube tank. It's an entire colony of filter feeding tube worms.

Apparently they have been hard at work keeping this tank, looking great. And the cool thing is, with the NOSOK, we get to keep them both in place, but also contain them to a single location inside the tank. It is literally like a live particulate filter...

We'll be at Reefapalooza California
This weekend at booth 614A. Stop by and get yourself a NOSOK, and STOP WASHING YOUR SOCKS!

More versatility  - less sock washing...

The NOSOK gives you options. In this video, we show you how to use Phosphate absorbing media to wrap the core of a 4in NOSOK.

You can use all kinds of different filtration media, such as activated carbon infused spong, poly filters, course black sponge, fleece sheets or filter floss. The customization is nearly limitless.

Available in 2.75, 4in and 7in sizes, the NOSOK is now available at ypur favorite online retailer and many local fish stores.
