As part of the official events of Police Week in Washington, DC, the National Police Dog Foundation hosts the annual National Police K9 Memorial Service. The memorial service includes a wreath and rose laying ceremony to honor the memory of fallen police K9s who have given their lives in the line of duty. The ceremony takes place today at 1 p.m. God Bless all our LE Heros.

SFGC is hosting a First Aid Class for dogs taught by Kate Klasen, founder of Bishop's Mission. Bishop’s Mission, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting first responders and working K9s. The class will take place Tuesday, February 25th, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Shark Fin Gear Company, located at 6125 S. Ash Avenue, Suite B5. This class is open to all dog owners. Space is limited, there is a $49 fee for the class. You must be registered and paid your registration fee to attend.
