Meet Bear: Bear is a 3 1/2 year old male cockatiel with some seriously brag-worthy hair. He was sold to one of my customers as a hand-tame cockatiel but he is not what I would consider tame. After now having a handtamed baby, Bear has proven to require more work than they have time for and is spending all his time in a cage, so they are looking to find him a better suited home. He will step up if he is out on one of the tree stands, but when he bites, you know it. He does surprisingly well on a shoulder but still isn’t that perfect hand-fed bird they were told. Bear is looking for a new home, and has a low rehoming fee for someone willing to put in the time with him. Definitely a male. Meet Midna:
Midna is a male parrotlet who is thought to be a bit of a scammer. At home, he bullies the cockatiels and can’t seem to be friendly with the other birds… since he’s been in the store, he’s been nice to all the birds! 😂 I’ve had him on the playstands day after day socializing and he’s done great, but I wouldn’t want to see him go home with that same expectation. There’s a chance he will be the boss of your house too! Since he’s been here… (maybe 2 weeks) he loves riding on a shoulder, does great on a playstand, and generally doesn’t seem to have a preference in people he’s friends with. He is about 9months old. Come by to meet him, and see if your house is a good fit for this independent little boss bird.

Even the birds like to haze the newbies.. 😂 This sun conure will go back and forth all day long playing the “can’t catch me” game but if Jason or I reach down, he comes right over. 🤦‍♀️
