🌟🐾 Beans Update! 🐾🌟

For those who haven’t met him yet, Beans is a brave little kitten from our friends at Newborn Kitten Rescue. When he first came to Desert Rose Animal Hospital, he was facing a scary diagnosis — FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Thanks to quick action, love from his foster family, and a treatment plan with Dr. Casida, Beans began his journey toward healing. 💛

Now, we are thrilled to share that Beans is halfway through his treatment — and he’s thriving! He adores spending time with his foster brothers, showing his playful spirit, and proving just how strong he really is.

The best news? Once his treatment is complete, Beans will be ready for adoption! This little fighter is looking forward to the forever home he deserves — full of love, cuddles, and cozy naps.

Dr. Casida will be out recharging on a quick getaway, so Desert Rose Animal Hospital will be closed Tuesday 9/23 and Wednesday 9/24.

But don’t worry—our amazing relief veterinarians will be here to care for your pets on Monday 9/22, Thursday 9/25, and Friday 9/26. 🐾✨

🐾🇺🇸 Honoring the Four-Legged Heroes of 9/11 🇺🇸🐾

As we reflect on September 11th this Patriots Day, we remember not only the brave first responders and civilians, but also the working dogs who played an extraordinary role in the aftermath.

From search and rescue to providing comfort, hundreds of dogs were deployed to Ground Zero. Some tirelessly searched the rubble for survivors, guided by their incredible noses and unshakable loyalty. Others became therapy dogs, offering quiet comfort to firefighters, police, and families in their darkest hours.

These dogs reminded us of courage, hope, and compassion when the world felt broken. They served without hesitation, showing us the true meaning of devotion and resilience.

Today, we honor them alongside every hero of 9/11. We will never forget. ❤️🐕
