Hi Hoomans...it's Loki... I'm writing tonight cuz mama is getting super nervous now that I have 6 days until I get a new knee...
Don't tell mama...but I'm alittle nervous too, but mama did show me these pictures on the what my new knee will look like... I'M GONNA BE BIONIC 🐾🐾
Mama also said that I'll be in good hands at Bell Ridge Animal Hospital...
I think I'll go give mama some kisses so she know I'm going to be just fine...

So here we go...
As time went on Loki was enjoying the fact that he was the only male in the house..KING LOKI..👑🐾.(bottom photo)
Well I LUV to rescue and you never know what kind of dog you will rescue and I wanted Loki to be able to handle any males I might bring home....
I figured what's the best way to start...well a puppy . It so happened I got to rescue a male puppy..Meet Leroy Jethro Gibbs (top photo).. we call him Jethro and he just loved Loki and Loki was so so good with him.. Loki knew Jethro was a baby.. it felt like this was gonna work...

So here we go...

Loki is an active boy...from playing in the water to tearing up his stuffed animals...oh we can't forget the walks...its absolutely silly when he jumps up so high as I'm taking out his harness and lead...and when company comes over too...I think he is part bunny...🤣
But the best playtime I have with him is when we have the lazer pointer out... that boy goes sooo crazy that he can't stop..I mean literally can't stop..in this picture just look were the arrows are.. I had to fix a hole due to Loki putting his head in the wall trying to get the lazer pointer.. he slid and forgot how to stop..🤣 I LUV my hippo....

14 days until surgery... so Loki and I decided to share a story about him and his life until the day of surgery...
So here we go...
The true Loki shines through... from a rough boy to the most sweetest, silliest velvet hippo I have ever met.. as time went on I fell more and more in LUV with this boy and after hearing my daughter beg to keep him...I gave in... who knew that they very first pitbull in my life, would open my eyes to this breed...all the bad rap they get is so so wrong... yes he will protect me when I need it, but until then...he has stolen my heart...
I had plenty of people that wanted him, but my gut told me something else...I even had someone offer me $1500 for Loki, but his intentions were not going to be good...so nope...he is staying with me...
its so important to do you research.

Remember they are born good..
We make them bad...so adopt don't shop..cuz you never know...you may just meet the very best friend you will ever have....

15 days until surgery... so Loki and I decided to share a story about him and his life until the day of surgery...
So here we go...
So here we are about 4 month, maybe 6 into having rescued Loki... Loki had some issues at first, played very rough, didn't like training, even bite me...don't worry he was just acting out and I didn't get that hurt... so I pretty much had it in my mind that he need a forever home...not that I couldn't handle him..I just didn't have all my resources plus I can't keep every dog I resuce...or can I.. 😜
Well I sucked it up, did all my research on pitty's, on aggressive behavior, body language, training..whatever I could take in and focused on Loki...and WOW... he became so focused as well and realized I was mama and Alpha... things were going in a good direction...

OH MY GOODNESS, Zoey is perfect... I had a wonderful visit with her and what a GEM......Zoey can be your partner in crime on those lazy days or she can get you motivated for a beautiful day outside. I spent 45 min with her & got kisses within 20 min & had her asking for belly rubs at the end. She took to my male helper quicker then me, but at the end she was better. She luvs to play, she knows some commands, very gentle & she so wants to please you... ZOEY JUST NEEDS MORE TLC... I will be visiting with her in the next day or so to give an assessment, she is still with her owner in Goodyear & in good care.

she will need to be updated with shots and spayed. She's good with kids and people but not cats. she luvs to be inside or outside or in your lap for cuddles...

this is Zoey and she needs a home ASAP.. she is a 4 years old Blue/ Red nose pitty. She is a cuddler, well behaved goof ball. Zoey loves the outdoors and open space, and she loves smaller dogs but plays well with all dogs. Zoey will need to be spayed. We just got a call about a 6 year old cat who has diabetes that needs a new home. Unfortunately lady who has the cat can no longer take care of her or handle the medical expenses of the diabetes & the other animals in the house are stressing the cat out.
