Many of you know how much I talk about my dog Tully, “the best dog in the world”.
It is with the heaviest heart I have ever had and the most tears I have shed in a long time, that I need to share the fact that our beloved Tully passed away earlier this week from a sever complication after having had to have emergency surgery. All my family and friends are devastated by the sudden loss.
She watched me leave each morning as I set out to care for your companions. Each night upon my return from the day she was always at the door greeting me with a stuffed animal. With her grunts, her tail wags, her leaning and rubbing her face on a hip, sitting on your feet to be as close as she could, and those eyes, always had a way to make any day, even the worst of days seem not so bad and the great days even better.
Her name was Tully but I often called her Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh) because she was so easy going, she was loving, she would do what ever made us happy because that’s what made her happy.
For those who see me with your pets please understand if my smile might not be as big, or I might seem out of sorts. I am still here to care for your companions but do so with a broken heart.
Lisa and I need relief from this week so will take Saturday off and go walk the forest and chase the squirrels that she could never catch.
Our hearts, everyone that loved Tully, now have a big hole as we will miss her so!
